The Easter Bunny brought Addison a Butterfly kit for Easter this year. We started out by mailing in the certificate for the caterpillars a few weeks ago. They arrived in the mail two days ago and have already doubled in size. Addison loves to watch them...although they don't do much. In 7-10 days they will climb to the top of the container and form their chrysalis. Then we have to remove them from the container to a small butterfly house. Once in the butterfly house they will come out of their chrysalises and be able to fly around a bit before we release them. We have five caterpillars and she has already named them...please meet...Addison, Averie, Butterfly, Caterpillar, and Sock!
