A visit to Sullivan

We went to Sullivan, IL Saturday and Sunday to visit our friends John and Timmy and we stayed at their Inn. Timmy was having an art show that we went to see. We were not planning on taking Addi because we figured there was not much for a toddler to do at an art show but the guys wanted us to bring her, so she went with us and she was great!! She spent the day greeting people who came to the art show and there was food so she snacked a lot. It kept her busy. There was also a dog there and its name was Iggy and Addison loved that dog. Timmy and Addi also did some coloring together. Across the street from Timmy's art studio is a restaurant named Jibby's which is owned and operated by Doug Wilson. He is a designer on Trading Spaces. I think he also has another show on TLC. And of course he designed the decor in the restaurant and it was beautiful. So John took us over there and we met Doug and had dinner there. He gave Addi some balloons which was great because it provided hours of entertainment for Addi and Iggy the dog. In fact...I'm not sure who enjoyed the balloons more.
We are spending the rest of our holiday weekend working around the house. The doors in the basement need a second coat of paint and Kurt is hanging some more lights downstairs. Fun stuff!

I wondered if you were taking Addi! I hope she got some great art lessons from Timmy. ;) Sounds like you guys had a great time and lots of things to keep you busy. Thanks for the update and the pics.

Pretty quiet here in N.H. Of course it usually is pretty quiet. Glad you had a chance to get away. Sounds like you had a great time. Addi usually enjoys herself no matter where she is, and everyone enjoys her too.

Love You
