Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!! We had a busy but very fun day!! We love this holiday and enjoy it every year. This year, Addi was a pig. She loved her costume and did fine keeping the hat on, which was good because we had it on and off of her all day long. This morning, our neighborhood had its annual Halloween parade. The kids dress up and parade behind a fire truck to a park in our neighborhood. Then at the park they have treats, juice, and games for the kids. This year they also had Julie K, a children's music performer. Addi's cousin Ada (the ladybug) and her mommy and daddy and Addison's grandma and aunt joined us in the parade. I love our subdivision because they are very family oriented and do this kind of stuff all the time. It was nice!! Then we came back to our house and hung out with family for awhile before little miss Addi had to take a nap. This afternoon we went over to my brother and sister-in-law's house to hang out with them and Addi's momo and papa. We also had time to trick-or-treat at a few houses on our street. Addison really didn't understand what we were doing and would not talk to people that answered their door but she sure did like the fact that they put things in her pumpkin bag. Then tonight we went to a Halloween party and hung out with some friends. It was a fun day and Addison may not have understood all of it today...but she had fun!!
