Addison has REALLY been into the whole Christmas thing this year...what a great age!! We have been doing an Advent Calendar and Elf on the shelf to get ready for Christmas. She has helped me do some gift wrapping and we left cookies and milk out for Santa on Christmas Eve. We decorated a gingerbread house and last weekend we took her to a Christmas show at Northwoods Church and she sat through the whole thing and really enjoyed all the music. She has loved every moment of it and all of the Christmas lights. She was so excited this morning when she woke up and there were presents under the tree and in her stocking. She was crazy when it came to unwrapping the gifts too. We barely got one present unwrapped before she was opening another one!! It was great to see her so excited this year!
We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family by having everyone over to our house today. It was our first time hosting Christmas and we had a really nice time. My mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law Sara, niece Ada, uncle Ed, cousin Laurie and her boyfriend DJ, cousin Doug and his wife Trisha and girls Caitlyn and Rylie, and cousin Chris all came over. We had a great meal, opened gifts, and enjoyed each other's company. We are celebrating Christmas with the Pepperell side of the family on Sunday and we are looking forward to it. We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and enjoyed spending time with their loved ones!!
