We are continuing our holiday traditions and starting some new ones. Last year, Addi and her friend Miles enjoyed riding the holiday train at the mall so they asked to go again this year. They still love it!
This year, we let Addi ride the over sized rocking horse at the mall for the first time...and we let her go by herself. She loved it! She is just getting so big!
Last year we made a huge gingerbread house which was fun but this year we found a gingerbread village. So we each got to decorate our own houses. Kurt put Addi's house together but other than that, she wanted no help...
She also needed no help eating the frosting!!

For many years when I was a little girl, we would go to my grandparent's house and spend the day baking and decorating Christmas cookies. We have not done that in many years and especially since Addison was born. So this year we thought we would try it and she did great! We went to my parent's house and Kurt's mom and sister joined us. We used my great-grandma's sugar cookies recipe and my grandma's cookie cutters. The cookies turned out great and we had many laughs!
