Averie is 8 months old today. What a busy baby! It won't be long before she is either crawling or walking. Some days I thinks she is just going to walk and skip the crawling. She is trying to pull herself up on everything and she can get up to her knees but that is it for now. Daddy will be dropping her crib really soon! When you set her down on the floor she automatically throws herself over to her belly and just starts rolling until she gets a hold of a toy. She is a real go getter! She loves to eat and for the most part is eating mostly solid foods. Usually one meal a day she will have baby food. Her favorite so far is cheerios and crackers but will eat pretty much anything you put in front of her. The other day she had lima beans and black beans and she loved both! She is a very happy and playful baby and like her big sister, she is very expressive and makes many different silly faces. Finally, starting at about 7 1/2 months, she started sleeping through the night and her and Addi are now sharing a room. We ended up having to let her just cry it out and after two very painful nights, she got the message and started sleeping through the night. So the moral of this story...she was playing us!! ;)

How can it be 8 months already!!!!! Averie has certainly been our ray of sunshine in a few dark months! She has brought so much joy....and just when we needed it most!!!
