As it does every year, Christmas has come and gone too fast! We kept really busy and had a really nice holiday. Addi enjoyed opening gifts but really just wanted to play with all of the bows and ribbons on every one's packages!! Most of the packages under our tree had already been debowed before we could even give the gift away!! On Christmas Eve we went to Kurt's mom and dad's house and Christmas day we went to my mom and dad's house. Both days we spent eating great food, opening gifts, and spending wonderful time with family!! We feel so fortunate! We had so much fun and really enjoyed watching Addi's face light up at the sight of her new gifts! It isn't what Christmas is about, but it sure does make it magical when you see the joy in a child who just opened a gift! Then on Friday, we did some after Christmas shopping and got some great deals on Christmas stuff for next year and we went out to dinner with my family for my brother's 27th birthday. The little brother is getting old!! On Saturday night we took Addison on to see the Festival of Lights. A local park, about 10 minutes from our house, is decorated every year with thousands of lights and Christmas music; so we drive through it every year. This year we went in our pajamas and took a thermos of hot chocolate. It was nice and Addi just kept pointing and grunting at all of the lights. So I think she enjoyed herself. We hope that everyone had a nice Christmas and may you all have a safe and happy new year!!

It was a great Christmas! Watching Addi was the highlight. So many new memories were made and many more are on their way. Sounds like new traditions are being made at your household, too. Looking forward to the new year!

What a joy it is to celebrate Jesus' birth with our joy! Addi's delight with her special cookie from "Aunt Missa" was truly a joy! The time went much too quickly, but I take comfort in knowing there will be lots more memories to make. I love you all.
