We took Addi to her first baseball game tonight. We were given some tickets to a Peoria Chiefs game, the weather was perfect today, and it was free hot dog and peanut night so we had to go!! She did great!! She loved the music and would wiggle to it in her seat and she loved the mascot which is a dog. BUT...her favorite thing was the PEANUTS!!! It was the peanuts that kept her sitting all the way through the sixth inning. Then we decided we should probably cut her off or she was going to get sick and that was the end of her attention. So we left! She really didn't care about the baseball....I don't blame her! The first picture is of her trying to crack a peanut shell by squeezing it. We had a nice time!
There has not been much else going on. Addi has taken a real interest in the potty just all of a sudden. She sits on it a million times a day but has only peed twice and pood once, but we are headed in the right direction. Right now, she tells us every time she has gone in her diaper. So we need to work on that concept. Addi has also started putting two to three words together. Yesterday she said "I love mama" and then last night when Kurt got home from work she said "I love dada." This coming weekend, we are going to go down to St. Louis for an over night stay just to get out of town for awhile. My parents are going with us, so we are leaving Saturday afternoon when my mom gets off work. We are staying in Chesterfield, which is where Kurt and I use to live. We are planning on swimming in the hotel on Saturday night and then spending Sunday at the zoo. We love that zoo and can't wait to share it with Addi. It will be fun!! We have also been working on putting a reunion together for our friends from Lincoln College. That is the last weekend of August and we have about 25 people coming so far. It should be a good time! August will be over before we know it!!

I had to look closely at that first picture. She really looks like Kurt there. Give her some time and she will begin to enjoy watching baseball. I have to admit it isn't one of my favorites either, but going to the game is more exciting. Miss you guys!
PS: Thanks for updating the blog...maybe the other two will get update their blogs now. LOL
