Our Alaskan Cruise

Last year for our ten year anniversary we wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise...but then little Averie came along so we went for our eleventh anniversary.  We left from Seattle for a 7 day cruise of Alaska with my parents.  We made stops in Ketchikan, Juno, Skagway, Victoria, BC, and a short cruise through Tracey's Arm.  Beautiful scenery and a wonderful trip!

Views of Seattle from the boat.

Space needle.

This was the only sunset we saw the whole week.  Alaska isn't a really sunny place.

When we came back to port in Seattle, we took in a few sights before flying home the next day.  We went up into the Space Needle.

Somewhere out there is the house boat from Sleepless In Seattle.  We also ate at a restaurant that was in the movie.

Kurt got a coffee from the first Starbucks.

We wandered around Pike's Place Market.

Bubblegum Alley...yes...it is a wall full of gum.  What a repulsive idea but we had to see it!

We met up with our friend Patrick in Seattle.  He added his mark to the wall.
